Chef in the making: Caramel Pumpkin French Toast

It's Friday and it's a beautiful weather in California, my kids are home everyone is in a good mood. I feel all types of love in my body. So in my happy mood I feel like making some sweet breakfast. I look up on my Pinterest and see a streusel Version of caramel pumpkin French toast and I'm not a fan of streusel so I cut that part out and  began making the mixture and caramel topping sauce.  You can google the recipe  for more versions of this delicious breakfast.
So I started out  with the ingredients:
  1. Texas bread
  2. Pumpkin spice
  3. Heavy cream
  4. Real maple syrup
  5. Almond milk(sweetened)
  6. Pumpkin purée
  7. Large eggs
  8. Cinnamon
  9. Brown sugar
  10. Vanilla extract
  11. Caramel sauce
It seems like a lot for some French toast and a lot of cavities!!
So here is the picture of the whole set up

And I have to listen to music when I cook to keep me upbeat so I'm listening to
Davido(African singer) One of a Kind and Biggie feat.112- Sky is the Limit.
So I did my mixture with the help of my daughter and she's mixing with her cute little hands :)
I also did the caramel sauce, but I didn't take a picture of it but it's basically 2 tbs of heavy cream 2tbs of brown sugar and caramel sauce. You heat it up on low for 10 mins or until boil and you take it off and let it sit.

After that I cut my thick Texas bread in half diagonally and soaked it in the mixture for 3 mins(no it did not get soggy only flimsy bread gets soggy) cooked it brown and added a light glaze of syrup on both sides added the caramel sauce on top and whip cream and VOILA! Yummy cavity breakfast!  Lol
It's really good but the pictures of this is better on Google. I hope you have a great Friday!
